Is Microsoft upgrading the Xbox 360 hard drive to 60GB?
By Arnold Zafra
For the loyal followers of Microsoft Xbox 360, their favorite console’s 20GB hard drive model may be being replaced.
Although Microsoft has not announced any hard drive upgrade for the Xbox 360, a rumor has been circulating that Microsoft may indeed be on its way to launching a 60GB hard drive version of the Xbox 360.
According to a ”rock solid source talking to” Trusted Reviews‘ , a new Xbox 360 with 60GB hard drive may be on its way to the market. Gordon Kelly of Trusted Reviews says that Microsoft may replace the 20GB hard drive of its Xbox 360 by the end of this fiscal year, which translates to the end of June.
To keep up with the competition and gain more market momentum, upgrading the hard drive of the Xbox 360 seems to be a logical step for Microsoft. The Xbox 360 is Microsoft’s sole stronghold in the gaming market. And despite always playing second or third fiddle to Nintendo and Sony’s gaming console, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 still manages to have a strong following. The least Microsoft can do for Xbox 360 fans is to upgrade their beloved consoles.

Oh wait remember the days when Peter Mo[wh]ore and the rest of the Microsoft “yes men” were saying HDD were not necessary? Those same tards said HDMI wasn’t important, but then added it to the “Elite” 360’s and eventually other 360 SKUs. That’s alot of back talk from Microsoft.
