With food shortages abound throughout the world, do millions of gamers worldwide really need to be exercising more, that is, burning more calories, or should they really just be eating less? While exercise can increase muscle development, it can also increase appetite, possibly resulting in increased food consumption.

The perception used to be that Playstation would always have a plethora of good role playing games to choose from, and the XBox 360 was only for shooters, not so any more. S. release date calendars (subject to change) along with GamerStats average review scores, it is evident that the 360 currently rules this category in not only total RPG’s but also quality RPG’s (GSS 8.0 or above).

The Sony Playstation 3 may be lagging far behind console market leader Nintendo Wii, and closely behind Microsoft’s Xbox 360, but it is well positioned to regain its lead. This was what Sony’s Console Division Head Kaz Hirai said during a BBC News interview.

If the results of the recent survey of 10 Australian retail chains conducted by ChannelNews and SmartHouse is any indication of things to come in the Australian gaming market, Microsoft’s Xbox  may well be on its way to the dead pool.

Again, Nintendo has proven its might over all the other competitors in the console gaming market. Based on the NPD Group’s gaming sales chart for February, Nintendo Wii has sold 432,000 units, in second place after  Nintendo DS which topped the charts with 587,000 units sold.
