Ballmer: Vista’s OK because you can downgrade to Windows XP
Saturday, June 7th, 2008
I don’t know about you, but I think Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer’s elevator pitch for Windows Vista reveals his lack of confidence about his company’s major software product.

Here’s more proof that showed no matter how much Microsoft wants to say that the Vista’s security features are full proof, it still is vulnerable to various security threats.
Microsoft may delay its plan of stopping support for the Windows XP by the end of June, if users would tell them so. But so far, Steve Balmer said, no one has told them to stop the plan, and so they will push through with it.
Weeks after it announced that the life of Windows XP will be extended for another two years, it appears that Microsoft will make Windows XP SP3 available to OEMs, Volume License Customers, Windows Connect users and MSDNT/TechNet subscribers on April 21.
Decisions, decisions. So many new ultra low-cost PCs (ULPC) have come out or are coming out, that putting the specs of each computer side by side seemed a good idea. So, here are the basics statistics of each one.
It looks like Microsoft may release the successor to Windows Vista earlier than it planned. No less than Microsoft’s CEO Bill Gates gave a hint that Vista’s successor, Windows 7, may soon be hitting the development stage as early as next year.
